Job Description:

TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to join our team in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.


 


Job Summary: The Electrical Engineer III designs, develops, and tests all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and systems.  Performs routine logic design tasks associated with the development of new products or sustaining of existing products.


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Implements moderate to complex digital circuit designs involving microelectronics and analog devices.

  • Utilizes computer aided design software as an integral part of the design and development process.

  • Performs functional tests on relevant electronic assemblies and documents results.

  • Assists in troubleshooting problems.

  • Researches component specifications for use in designs.

  • Prepares supporting documentation.

  • Provides estimates of task duration.


 


 Required Skills and Experience:



  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.

  • Problem-solving and time management

  • Organizations skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Technical Documentation

  • Troubleshooting

  • Debugging/Testing Systems and Equipment

  • Knowledge of Electronic Circuits/Schematics

  • Advanced MS Office

  • Systems/Software Support

  • Hardware Design and Interfacing                                      


 


Education:



  • Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university.
