Job Description:

An award winning hospital located in New Jersey is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Director Women's and Children's Services to join their healthcare team.

This acute care facility is home to 200+ beds, An incredible Labor and Delivery Unit, Children's ER with attached inpatient unit & comprehensive cancer care. This hospital utilizes the latest in technology and evidence-based practices.

 The Nursing Director will oversee and support all clinical and service programs in Labor and Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum in the LDRP Unit. The nursing director Is responsible for managing human, fiscal and other resources needed to ensure optimal support staffing and positive patient outcomes within the departments.

 The LDRP unit is equipped with 20+ labor and delivery beds, 2 OB ED beds, 2 ante/postpartum rooms. This hospital sees 1200 birth on average a year. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing or Management preferred.


• Five years of nursing experience required 


• At least two years of experience in one specialty area.


• Minimum of three years of nursing management experience required.


• Licensed as a registered nurse in New Jersey.


• Certification in area of specialty preferred
