Job Description

Eurofins Eaton Analytical, Inc. is the largest and most recognized water and beverage testing laboratory in the United States, providing water quality compliance and specialty testing to more than 500 municipal, State and Federal customers.
Eurofins Eaton Analytical, Inc. (EEA) has a Full-Time Associate Scientist opening at our South Bend Laboratory in our Metals department. This is a full-time, hourly position averaging 40 hours per week. The work schedule may require evenings and/or weekends and the candidate must be able to work overtime on short same-day notice. Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred. The candidate will be required to comply with initial EEA employment requirements, including a drug screen.
Job Description: Responsible for routine analytical procedures in our laboratory.
Duties include:
• Routine sample preparation and analyses of water samples by various written EPA and Standard Methods procedures.
• Adherence to QA and QC protocols.
• Data entry and written documentation.
• Adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Preparation of reagents and standards.
• May include flexible shifts and/or weekend duties.
• Other general laboratory related duties as assigned.
This will be a full time position, scheduled for 40 hours per week, generally Monday-Friday 8 am- 5pm . Additional hours may occasionally be needed, depending on sample receipts and work load, including evening or weekend work. You will be required to pass a drug screen.
