What you will do:

As the Senior Manager of Sales Systems Strategy you will work for the Director of Transformation and lead a team of Business Solution Architects/System Developers, aligning work effort within a matrix organization of Quality Assurance Analysts, Sales Leaders and IT resources to deliver scalable and low friction solutions to the sales teams and customers, such as of Selection Navigator and associated platforms. You will solve complicated customer-facing and strategic business problems and add iterative solutions to the Fire Detection Sales Systems roadmap, executing on delivery. You will lead and mentor others to build and sustain a high-performance team as well as align with executive leaders and project stakeholders.

How you will do it:


  • Develop Sales tool product strategy based on an understanding and analysis of market and competitive landscape.


  • Partner with IT teams to deliver technology improvements for the Fire Detection Sales organization and customers based upon the aforementioned Sales tool product strategy.


  • Partner with leaders in IT, Sales, Finance and Product Management to ensure availability of dependable and integrated technology platforms.


  • Lead the Sales Systems team, setting standards for quality and velocity through the SAFe Agile development process.


  • Drive strategic thought leadership and facilitate executive level communication to support the FD business technology needs which support customers and Sales.


  • Manage the full application life cycle: Requirements Gathering, Architecture, Development, User Acceptance, Roll Out, Support.


  • Create a technology to business feedback loop with customers, Sales and Product Management teams, helping to make iterative improvements to business processes and applicable systems.


  • Responsible for leading the testing and QA functions for each deployment, ensuring system quality of the solution being delivered.


  • Analyze Sales tool designs and propose solutions that increase business value, optimize performance, and enhance the customer experience associated with Fire Detection Sales tools and quality.


  • Conceptualize and drive develop custom applications using best of breed design patterns suitable for the Fire Detection business unit global customer base, driving their integration into the JCI Global Products system architecture through the project intake and adoption process.


  • Develop and lead formalized change management program, inclusive of planned webinars, links to customer-facing training documents, posted formalized training schedules and collaboration with IT team and Learning team to further development WalkMe functionality.


  • Drive customer adoption of the Solution Navigator platform applications and connected programs developed to improve the customer experience and lower internal cost structures in Order Entry and improve Sales team efficiencies, improving revenues.


  • Manage data governance processes and adherence of guidelines between internal business units and systems.


  • Maintain excellent documentation and team processes.


What we look for:

Required


  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related area.


  • Experience in developing and supporting Go-To-Market technology solutions and managing teams.


  • Hands on and in-depth experience with the administration and customization of Enterprise solutions such as Selection Navigator and/or Solution Navigator.


  • Deep experience working on database or business intelligence solutions.


  • Strong understanding of FD Sales Go-To-Market strategy and business processes and the ability to pair effective and efficient technology solutions to them.


  • Analytical and detail-oriented, great project management and road-mapping skills.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve complicated interdepartmental projects and manage stakeholders.
