Amerisure is currently recruiting for a Summer Intern that will support our Marketing Team. The role will be located in our Farmington Hills Headquarters with a 2-day hybrid approach. This role will afford an intern to learn the following skill set.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinates and assists in the development of marketing content, communications and projects, relevant to internal and external requests, plans and platforms. Researches and makes recommendations for enhancing the Amerisure brand and engaging current and prospect agents, policyholders and employees. Supports the organization’s business plan by assisting the marketing team in executing pre-determined strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our brand and communications teams. Your insightful contribution will help develop, maintain and expand our marketing efforts. This internship will provide you with experience in a wide array of marketing activities, helping to prepare you for a fast-paced corporate environment. Responsibilities include:
Willingness to be a team player and partner with the different pillars of the marketing function to respond to and complete small to large scale and cross functional requests.
Assist in the development and execution of social media and other forms of digital content.
Assist in the development of external content including press releases, blog articles and sales collateral.
Assist in the development of employee-focused content, including special interest pieces.
Assist in the development of graphic assets including presentations, sales collateral, flyers, invitations, etc., in accordance with brand standards.
Ensure content integrity, accuracy, timeliness and relevance is consistent with our key messages.
Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with creative design software (e.g. Adobe CS)
Passion for marketing and its best practices
