ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Strategic Marketing Intern will be part of the North America Marketing team and will be involved in day-to-day activities to gain as much experience as possible. Intern will discover all aspects of strategic marketing function, encouraged to bring new ideas and be mainly responsible for:
OCTG Consumption Model – Create a consumption model based on external sources well count data and Vallourec intelligence on string designs to understand OCTG utilization by Operator in each US basin. To effectively build this model, you can likely utilize many data analytics and some data scraping/ automation skills.
Marketing Intelligence Dashboards – Lead efforts to streamline, automatize and best utilize existing data, helping to bridge processes and connect information. This involves learning about the O&G market and available data, to be familiarized with predictive models, and have good data analytics skills.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this internship, you should demonstrate the following competencies:
Pursuing bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Computer Science/Information Systems or Engineering
Must be results oriented, assertive and confident, along with being well organized and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail; strong analytical view and initiative to investigate issues independently and present effective solutions
Possess interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate all levels of the organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, modeling)
Knowledge on automation and Python preferred
Eager to learn and contribute for the team growth
