To put it simply, you’ll be responsible for leading the business development of the Services and Solutions team. You’ll ensure that the group is expanding client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and developing process to support a profitable business model within the Services and Solutions group. Here’s a list of your main duties:
Creates a business plan that capitalizes on existing customer relationships, new customer opportunities, and market changes to enhance the growth of the Services and Solutions offering.
Develops relationships with a wide variety of customers and buying influences within the region’s customer base. This may include non-customers such as industry organizations, boards, and engineering firms that do not procure material.
Defines supplier organizations in terms of resources for technical support, project/program management, sales, marketing, channel, and commercial issues.
Coordinates the transition of projects from the pre-sales team to the order entry, coordination, and implementation team.
Leads and/or assists sales staff with the pursuit and closing of any Services and Solutions business orders, with an emphasis on developing outcomes that ensure clients have quality, safe power within their facility.
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree required; Additional sales experience will be considered in lieu of meeting the educational requirement.
Experience with all equipment downstream of the power company feed that supports an industrial plant having quality, safe power within their facility required.
Self-driven and proactive.
Follow-up, follow through, and planning skills required.
Great communication skills (verbal and written).
Competence with MS Office products and understanding of sales business systems.
