Amerisure is adding to staff and recruiting for a Training & Development, System Transformations Specialist to join our team.  This position can be remote from most locations in the U.S, or work hybrid if near a local office. 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Plan, develop, and coordinate training & development for system transformations. Manage system transformation needs assessment, curriculum development, and course content development with business stakeholders and SMEs. Communicate training and development plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage training development across all levels of expertise for impacted business units.


  • Conduct needs assessment through attending working sessions to identify learning objectives, working with subject matter experts and stakeholders.


  • Analyze, design, and develop training content for system transformations including system, product, and process materials.


  • Coordinate with various internal subject matter experts to ensure timely and meaningful delivery of training content.


  • Develop and implement engagement activities during and after training to maximize employee participation and reinforce learning concepts.


  • Coordinate advance communication with impacted parties to spread awareness.


  • Develop and continuously improve training presentations and delivery methods as blended learning (computer or web-based training, training videos, in-person, etc.)


  • Oversee annual budget associated with training activities.


  • Utilize specialized software to create training content.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and/or work-related experience.


  • Five years property and casualty insurance experience.


  • Commercial underwriting and systems experience preferred.


  • Working knowledge of IT project lifecycles and agile methodology preferred.


  • Expertise in Camtasia, Articulate 365, or similar software strongly preferred.


  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.


  • Demonstrates successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.


  • Demonstrates successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines.


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.


  • Strong work ethic, and ability to work with minimal supervision.


  • Demonstrates the ability to successfully manage projects from conceptual phase through implementation and piloting.


  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
