This position can be based remotely.


As a HRIS Analyst, you will oversee the design, implementation and system health of all HR Technology applications. Reporting to the Director, Benefits, Compensation & HRIS, you will serve as the technical support Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide consultative services on best practices, technological road maps, opportunities for automation and process improvements.


In addition to supporting our HR systems and providing technical support, as analyst, you will build project plans, ensure adherence to project schedules and work with the HR Team to establish technology priorities. You will be focused on optimizing the performance of our HRIS platform, UKGPro. You will leverage the return on technological capabilities by supporting the team with business intelligence reporting, dashboards, analytics, and partner on an HR strategy to assist the team to enhance and re-imagine the HR function and applicable processes.



  • Champion and serve as the technical expert for our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and any additional HR technology applications by driving long term direction, design requirements, implementation, functionality, and future enhancements.

  • Manage the HRIS configuration, security administration, system updates, and overall functionality/performance with our HRIS vendor.

  • As the SME, drive efficiencies and outline a plan to increase user adoption through employee and manager self-service activities.

  • In partnership with HR and business leaders, help identify data needs throughout the organization, offer reporting, dashboards, and analytics to help drive strategic business decisions.

  • Support integrations between Ultimate Software and other systems to assist with continued seamless performance capabilities.

  • Analyze HRIS performance metrics/data through the implementation of technological advancements and trends in the field of HR technology.

  • Responsible for resolving complex/escalated requests and technical issues.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders (internal/external) in understanding business requirements and ensure results meet necessary business requirements.

  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality within all HR technologies and vendor systems, through routine auditing, data validations, and corrective actions.

  • Build and grow positive business relationships across HR, Payroll, Benefits and IT departments as well as external vendor teams, to provide the proper support and analysis to leverage technology solutions across the company.


Experience, Education & Skills



  • Minimum two years of hands-on HRIS experience required as an HRIS Analyst or Administrator using UKG.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field of study or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.

  • Solid understanding and expertise of UKGPro including Time & Attendance, manager self-service and workflows.

  • Knowledge of HR data management and Business Intelligence report writing skills preferred.

  • Understanding of data transformation and analytics.

  • Possess exceptional influencing and relationship building skills to establish long-lasting credibility and trust with internal customers.

  • Proven customer-centric ability to effectively work in a fast paced and fluid business environment with competing priorities and effectively collaborate across teams.

  • Superior verbal and written communications skills.

  • Must be self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize independently while demonstrating a sense of urgency to maintain system integration deadlines.

  • Proven organizational and follow-up skills, comfortable initiating and responding to high volume of emails.

  • Adapt at working in demanding, deadline-driven environment with a task-driven focus.

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills to successfully troubleshoot and resolve unexpected roadblocks, barriers and inquiries from internal and external clients.

  • Flexible mindset with an ability to work remotely and autonomously.
