Shipping and Returns Associate at The Ritedose Corporation in Columbia, South Carolina

Job Description:

The Shipping & Returns Associate is responsible for arranging & tendering all finished goods materials shipments in the warehouse both outbound and inbound returns. The Shipping & Returns Associate will coordinate the scheduling of shipments, communicate shipping dates to internal & external stakeholders, and lead the overall efforts to maintain the Supply Chain’s on-time shipment goals by facilitating interdepartmental issue resolutions.

Responsibilities:

Create shipment documents in the ERP system for customer shipments and compile relevant shipment documents and equipment for each shipment.

Complete post-shipment documentation including sending any customer specific ASN in the requested manner, to include submission of data in Tracelink.

Process all commercial product returns to credit customers & maintain inventory accuracy.

Entry of shipping and receiving transactions into the ERP system in an accurate and timely manner.

Schedule and coordinate tractor and trailer scheduled maintenance.

Schedule equipment calibration activities and record maintenance.

Inventory control cycle counts and flow rack lot allocation as required.

Maintain the Shipping Requirements Manual.

Follow SOPs, safety, health, and cGMP guidelines.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds of equipment, parts or supplies.

Ability to operate material handling equipment requiring the pulling and pushing of excessive weight.

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to participate and develop a team-oriented working relationship within the department.

Fork lift certification.

Knowledge of basic computer programs.
