Job Responsibilities: include the following.  (Other duties may be assigned.)


  • Analyzes and maintains inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, and manages and oversees the handling of inventory-related issues.

  • Prioritize workload with a sense of urgency based on facility needs.

  • Manage Process that receives and transfers products through internal ERP  system and physical locations.

  • Generate labels for locations as needed.

  • Manage/Develop processes of creating or changing stock locations.

  • Resolves out-of-stock situations, discovers, and analyzes discrepancies in inventory data, and recommends/implements improvements.

  • Manage the cycle count process.

  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, or Marketing on developing/maintaining stocking levels of items.

  • Monitors order/delivery status, stock outages, inventory turns, forecast, and inventory stocking levels for facilities; and provides early warnings on late deliveries to take corrective action.

  • Determines, evaluates, and redeploys obsolete and excessive inventory.

  • Calculates and publishes slow-moving and obsolete supplies as needed.

  • Evaluate suppliers and help improve their performance.

  • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Adhere to all safety and security procedures.

Job Requirements:


  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Basic math skills and knowledge of units of measure.

  • Previous experience in computing rate, ratio, and percent and drawing and interpreting bar graphs.

  • Proven ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
