Performs Electro-Mechanical assemblies in the form of sub-assemblies and final assembly product under a microscope.
Assembles ultra-miniature assemblies or is fully proficient in a specific product line.
Operates standard shop equipment including solder iron, microscope, ultrasonic cleaner, and ovens.
Reworks improperly functioning units.
Communicate with the calibration department to ensure accurate assembly and proper functioning of units.
Performs continuous cross-training to increase skills and knowledge.
Soldiers miniature parts under a microscope for extended periods during the work shift.
Flexible and capable of processing more complex assemblies with minimal supervision.
Performs other duties as assigned.
3-5 years of Electro-Mechanical assembly experience.
Must be able to read and understand engineering assembly drawings.
Advanced schematic reading and ability to troubleshoot assemblies.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Good hand and eye dexterity.
Good communication skills.
Certification for J-STD C or IPC-610.
Must be a local candidate.
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
