  • Oversee the entire software development process

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of software engineers

  • 10+ years of experience delivering web-based applications and services

  • In-depth knowledge of engineering concepts, OO programming, HTTP, MVC, APIs, and data structures

  • Familiarity with object-oriented principles, preferably in C#

  • Expertise in automated test tools and techniques like test-driven development

  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React

  • Familiarity with data streaming technologies like Rabbit MQ, Amazon MQ, Apache Kafka, and/or Azure Messaging Services

  • Proficient in web services standards and technologies (XML, SOAP, JSON, Rest, gRPC)

  • Advanced experience with relational and non-relational database technologies and concepts like MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, HBase, ACID, and CAP theorem

  • Knowledgeable about modern software development practices, version control, unit testing, and continuous deployment

  • Understanding of modern software development, including version control, unit testing, and continuous integration & deployment

  • Demonstrates leadership and influence on a company-wide scale

  • Successfully executes challenging projects

  • Collaborates effectively within a team, offering and receiving feedback

  • Willingness to mentor and guide others

  • Can simplify complex technical ideas for non-tech audiences

  • Open to embracing new ideas and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cloud providers and services such as Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure and microservices architectures like Docker and Service Fabric

  • Expertise in microservices architectures and containerization using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Service Fabric

  • Strong debugging skills and adaptability to new technologies

  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture

  • Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, EDI X12

  • Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycles, EMRs, and practice management systems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
