The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is one of the 12 regional Reserve Banks that, together with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., make up the Federal Reserve System. It helps formulate and implement monetary policy, supervises banks and bank and savings and loan holding companies, and provides financial services to depository institutions and the federal government. The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia serves eastern and central Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware.

You will have leaderships and people management skills, understanding of Agile principles and development methodologies, and experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, PowerBI, and the M365 ecosystem, plus an understanding of business processes. You will work with and lead development teams and work with business analysts to facilitate cloud migrations, automate manual tasks to improve efficiency, and support best practices and user adoption. You will report directly the Officer of IT Services.

What You Will Do:


  • Lead a team of technology professionals (developers); interviews, recommends, hires, trains, and appraises performance of subordinates; recommend salary actions; reviews work of staff.

  • Propose architecture solutions based on business and technology considerations.

  • Map processes, capabilities and business object models to application types and solutions in application landscape for assigned area.

  • Cloud migration planning and implementation (M365, Azure, AWS)

  • Promote re-use and shared services to reduce complexity of the technology portfolio.

  • Produce technical documentation of systems and architectures.

  • Ensure compliance of solutions to architectural standards.

  • Be a subject matter expert on technologies and trends in your domain of expertise.

  • Collaborate with other Federal Reserve System solution architects and Application Development Leadership team workgroups, and attend important solution architecture-related conferences, seminars, and events.

  • Stay up to date with the latest Power Platform and M365 features (SharePoint Online) and technologies, and industry trends to propose solutions and improvements (Azure, AWS). 

  • Collaborate with teams to integrate solutions with other enterprise systems.

  • Perform architectural evaluations and develop prototypes using different software tools to determine the feasibility and cost effectiveness of alternative approaches to development efforts.

  • Mentor subordinates to meet both their career goals and the organizations goals.

  • Recognize the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.

What You Have:

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

  • Education may be substituted for additional years of experience.

Preferred: 


  • Experience as a Power Platform architect/developer and SharePoint Online subject matter expert, with hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions. 

  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as Power Platform Fundamentals, App Maker Associate, Functional Consultant Associate, Developer Associate, Solution Architect Expert, and Power BI Data Analyst Associate.

Knowledge:


  • Demonstrated technical leader with an understanding of product our goals, business processes and solutions architecture.

  • Knowledge of Power Platform and the M365 ecosystem (SharePoint Online, PowerBI) platform features, capabilities, and best practices. 

  • Experience in application and solution development with emphasis on cloud and enterprise platform solutions (Azure and AWS).

  • Demonstrate successful site and solution development using SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and M365.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to comprehend complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with all levels.

  • Work with customers and collaborate with team members.

  • Be a team player; ‘we’ vs ‘me’ mentality.

The salary grade for this position is: Grade 17.
