This position will primarily work within the Central Battery and Compressor Station facilities. This position will be required to cross train with field operators to support shift coverage and meet other field needs. Position level is commensurate with experience and skill sets.
Primary responsibilities:
Have a mindset for SAFETY and achieving zero incidents.
Operate the Central Battery, Compressor Station, and LACT safely and in compliance with regulatory agency guidelines an corporate policies.
Work with field operators, operations technicians, maintenance, and supervision to create a safe and efficient operation.
Work with field operators to achieve pressure and volume targets.
Complete LOTO and assist in repairs and maintenance on equipment.
Ensure quality information is being recorded and distributed.
Maintain all assigned facilities.
Troubleshoot issues in assigned facilities as needed.
Follow all company Policies and Procedures and meet all regulatory requirements.
Cross training duties:
Operate production wells, injection wells, and test/separation facilities safely and in compliance with regulatory agency guidelines and corporate policies.
Collect readings and interface with other area operators.
Assist in isolation tasks, repairs, and maintenance on all field operations equipment.
Troubleshoot injection and production wells as needed.
Position Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
High school Diploma or GED
1 to 5 years minimum experience operating in the oil and gas industry.
Experience operating compressors, pumps, and separation equipment.
Good communication and organization skills.
Pass company required background and drug testing requirements.
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
Ability to work with a team and take direction from supervisors and keep required work schedules.
Work on call schedule and overtime.
Respond to call outs.
Must be able to work with limited supervision and follow rules and policies.
Lift 50 pounds safely.
Work outside in varying weather conditions.
Self-motivated, dependable, and punctual.
Communicate all safety hazards in a timely manner.
Basic computer skills.
Knowledge of working tools.
Preferred skills:
Previous training in lockout-tagout process.
Previous training in H2S.
Operational knowledge CO2 EOR field operations.
Experience working with ESPs.
