Staff Accountant at Liquid Env Solutions of Texas in Irving, Texas

Job Description:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for timely completion of account reconciliations, journal entries, internal financial reporting, fixed assets, purchase order system and other general accounting duties. The Staff Accountant will be detail oriented, technically adept and a team player. 

Responsibilities:


  • Prepares and post accurate journal entries to the general ledger

  • Reconciles various general ledger accounts monthly and records activity

  • Provides periodic bank reporting

  • Accurately tracks capital expenditures and provide timely reporting to management

  • Maintains fixed asset and depreciation system including input, tracking, and analysis

  • Accurately maintain and record purchase orders

  • Analyzes financial transactions and ensures that they are appropriately recorded

  • Reconciles general ledger accounts to appropriate sub-ledgers and provide analysis as needed

  • Collaborates with operations team to ensure accuracy of divisional P&L’s

  • Effectively works with other departments to ensure financial transaction are recorded accurately

  • Monitors rent and lease payments and related schedules

  • Assist in supporting the annual audit

  • Perform other duties as assigned

 Requirements:


  • 2-4 years of corporate accounting experience

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • Multiple company/multiple entity experience a plus

  • Experience with Dynamics Great Plains preferred

  • Must have excellent work habits, be detail oriented and have strong communication skills
