Position Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining storeroom operations. The Storekeeper will issue parts, monitor storeroom inventory and place orders for various parts, equipment and supplies at intervals and quantities as required to efficiently support winery, packaging, and warehouse operations. Also responsible for processing invoices, receiving deliveries and ensuring they arrive to the appropriate departments, maintaining reports, records and inventory in our electronic system.

Responsibilities

• Issue all parts and supplies through the SAP tracking system and perform adjustments as necessary




• Maintain the Parts Storeroom in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times




• Verify inventory levels and generate MRO order list based on economic order quantities and severity of risk to operations (EOQ/RTO)




• Place orders by generating a SAP purchase order or using P-card for necessary parts and supplies




• Collaborate with MDM on JDE MRO item descriptions for consistency in file maintenance




• Process requisitions by means of purchase order or P-card for all goods and services for Packaging, Maintenance, Distribution, Operations and Cellar departments. May also include: Janitorial services and supplies, office supplies, uniforms, bottled water, coffee supplies, vending machine contacts, pest control, security, FR clothing, portables, gas, diesel, propane, and others as required




• File closed purchase orders and/or P-card receipts accurately for re-ordering references




• Properly allocate P-card and other spending to correct departments and/or cost centers




• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies for Accounts Payable




• Physically receive UPS, FED Ex and other deliveries for all departments and coordinate delivery or pick up.




• Shelve received parts in accordance with stock organization system




• Maintain forklift inspection report files and notify the appropriate Foreman or Supervisor of missed inspections in a timely manner




• Report on monthly gas, diesel & propane usage for department managers




• Coordinate quarterly fire system inspections and annual fire extinguisher service with supplier and departments




• Daily work sheet recording




• Facilitate recycling of e-waste, batteries, lamps, ballasts etc.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED




• 2 – 5 years of administrative experience




• Must have strong organizational skills




• Must have excellent computer skills




• Must have good interpersonal skills




• Well versed in Excel and Office. Access is helpful




• SAP experience preferred

• Physical Requirements: The employee frequently is required to sit, talk or listen and drive long distances.  The employee is occasionally required to stand; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.  Frequent walking, including going up and down stairs and ladders, and bending are required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.




• Work Environment: Working conditions in certain areas of the winery are cold, wet, slippery and noisy.  Involves exposure to hazardous conditions.  Irregular shifts, including graveyard, and long hours may be required, particularly during harvest.

The salary range for this role is:

$22.74 - $32.06

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
