Job Description:

Position Summary
The Retail Lead is responsible for leading the interaction with customers and providing excellent customer experience and service delivery. This position also requires having knowledge about cannabis products, providing product recommendations and processing sales transactions while acting as sales leader to meet or exceed the companys sales and profitability goals.

Responsibilities & Duties
Provides excellent customer service to all customers, leads team in same. Answers customer questions about products and advises them on their needs and preferences, addresses escalated customer concerns. Ensures transactions are processed accurately and efficiently using a computerized system; provides training to staff as needed. Acts as sales leader to meet or exceed the companys sales goals by using Insa sales standards, models sales behaviors for team. Ensures order fulfillment and restocking when needed; maintains a clean and organized retail space. Maintains compliance with Company SOPs and state regulations, including sales limits and proper checking of ID specifications. Actively contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by following applicable safety procedures, wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to management. Behaves in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative and encourages teamwork. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills
Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Previous retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience required. 1 3 years of leadership experience preferred. Basic computer skills required; POS software and cash management experience preferred. Basic math skills including adding and subtraction required. Outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude required. Must have a reliable personal vehicle. Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs occasionally. Ability to stoop, kneel, and bend at the waist. Visual acuity is needed for viewing computer screens and fine print. Manual dexterity needed for performing transactions.
