Corporate Communications - Summer Intern 2024 at Tricentis Americas, Inc. in Austin, Texas

Job Description:

We are looking for an aspiring Corporate Communications professional to join our Tricentis Summer Internship Program in Austin, Texas as part of the corporate marketing team. In this role, you’ll be supporting the global PR and social media programs and work closely with the Senior Corporate Communications Manager, Global PR, and Senior Social Media Specialist as well as the broader marketing team. The ideal candidate will be an individual who has strong writing and communications skills, is eager to learn, and is self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring, tracking and reporting of media coverage across all PR-covered regions: US, UK, Germany, Singapore and Japan




• Upload press releases and news coverage to Tricentis website; providing copy for social posts




• Help coordinate diaries of executive spokespeople for media interviews and articles




• Update weekly marketing documents to highlight key activity




• Assist in managing the social media content calendar, content creation, and publication schedule in Hootsuite for LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and YouTube.




• Collaborate with our marketing team to develop social campaigns for our promotional events, product launches, and other projects as needed.




• Use social media analytics tools to track the performance of posts and campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.




• Conduct research on current trends in the software industry to inform content creation and marketing strategies.




• Support the day to day management and maintenance of our employee advocacy platform GaggleAMP.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or seeking degree – preferably in public relations, journalism, communications or related field




• Strong writing, communications and interpersonal skills




• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects at one time




• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team setting




• An eye for perfection, with the inclination to ensure that all written materials and efforts reflect excellence and adhere to brand and style guidelines




• A “can do” attitude and enthusiasm to do what is asked to help the team achieve success – no task too large or small!




• Experience and/or interest in the tech world




• Familiar with Hootsuite, GaggleAMP – an advantage
