Job Description:

Reporting to the Billing Manager of Finance, the Billing Specialist is a member of the Finance team responsible for coordinating all information required for accurate and timely billing. As a part of our team, you will perform all patient billing activities as well as follow-up activities with patients and third-party payers. This position will research and verify all benefit and information requirements to ensure eligibility of patients for benefits. They will also scrub claims and post payments to patient accounts. Humanim prides itself on efficient billing services including the filing of claims, appeals processing, and authorizations and, above all, a great passion for helping individuals obtain treatment. The Billing Specialist works with the ABA division ensuring all claims are reviewed for accurate documentation, submission, and reimbursement.
