What to Expect

Schedule: Days 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM (rotates every other weekend)

As a Med Lab Scientist, you'll get to:

  • Perform high complexity testing in immunohematology, including antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, elution, and cross match.

  • Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services.

  • Review and report test results, participate in investigative studies, participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations.

  • Receive coaching, encouragement, and support from caring managers who are invested in your career and success.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or clinical laboratory science required.

  • Certification as a Medical Technologist/MLS/BB from an accredited agency or CLIA equivalent for high complexity testing required.

  • State licensure as required by regulations.

  • Minimum two years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting or Blood Banking certification required.
