Examiner

Assists in examinations and supervisory events of supervised institutions, focusing on the assessment of risk, and the adequacy of risk management systems and operational controls.. Completes reviews under the supervision of a more experienced examiner, until sufficient experience gained to work without supervision.. Drafts, organizes, and verifies workpapers and related documents with guidance of more experienced examiners, until sufficient experience gained to work without supervision.. Assists in analyzing supervised institution performance regarding compliance with noncomplex laws, regulations, and regulatory policies.. Communicates, describes, supports, and discusses findings of supervisory events with Reserve Bank and supervised institution management.. Completes System schools and training modules to progress to commissioned examiner status.. Position requires travel to financial institutions to perform the essential functions of the job listed below, which usually requires carrying a laptop computer in addition to one's personal luggage.. Positions may require driving to locations in the ninth district where public transportation is not an option, and in such cases, a current valid driver’s license is required.. Safeguards equipment, sensitive data, and resources according to the SRC Information Security and Data Handling Handbook.. Handles records in accordance with the System Records Retention Manual compliance plan.. Performs other duties as assigned..
