The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is looking for an Sr. Manager, Products to join the Data and Analytics Services (DAS) team. We are looking for this role to provide technical product leadership for all DAS outputs across business domains in coordination with SF ITS leadership.

DAS has a new vision, strategy, and organizational structure. This position is essential to executing on the new vision and strategy for DAS and enabling SF ITS to stand tall in the data space at the System level and become a product centric agile organization.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field or equivalent work experience

  • 10+ years of relevant IT and business work experience with expert knowledge of delivering data products and solutions

  • 7+ years of leading product managers and other development resources

  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations and data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

  • Manages multiple system data products and services.

  • Deep understanding of technology-driven businesses, including technical components and modern application development processes.

  • Advanced experience using agile methodologies to develop and deliver products.

  • Must be a U.S Citizen or a Green Card holder with intent to become a U.S Citizen

Responsibilities:


  • Propel Data and Analytics Services (DAS) toward its new vision and strategy.

  • Provide technical product leadership for all DAS outputs across business domains in coordination with SF ITS leadership. 

  • Provide oversight to customers to shape the vision, strategy, roadmap for all DAS outputs, to enable them to leverage data as a strategic asset and to ensure continued business value. 

  • Ensure consistent product management processes, practices, and provide visibility across the DAS portfolio.  

  • Collaborate with business partners to nurture strategic relationships through effective communications and transparency, while demonstrating thought leadership to solve business problems through the right technology and business process optimization.  

  • Performs the role as a technical product manager providing guidance to the architects and product management team on appropriate technology usage.

  • Enables other members of DAS senior management to expand their focus on AI/ML and generative AI, and to efficiently support the delivery, operations, and compliance for all business partners. 

Base Salary Range: Min: $176,700 - Mid: $229,500 - Max: $282,300 (Location: San Francisco)
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
