Job Description:

Logistics Coordinator- Are you ready to be part of something big? Greif is thrilled to announce the opening of our cutting-edge Corrugated Sheet and Box manufacturing facility in the heart of Dallas, Texas!

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator who will be a key to our success in ensuring exceptional customer service for our Manufacturing Operations at our 350,000+ sq. ft. Corrugated Sheet and Box facility.

Key Responsibilities

You will utilize your experience and training to direct, manage and perform all activities regarding logistical support for the Dallas Manufacturing operation under the direction of the Shipping Manager.


  • Coordination of daily freight planning with Driver and cooperate input.

  • Coordinate the required common carrier freight and tender shipments and complete the BOL process.

  • Track and trace all shipments.

  • Coordinate materials and supplies inventory management efforts, including requisitioning and receiving of materials and services.

  • Obtain data to assist in the analysis of performance trends.

  • Proactively identify problems to management.

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Education and Experience

  • Typically possesses technical training after high school and has 3-6 years of relevant experience.

Preferred/ Desired Skills:


  • Degree in a relevant field preferred.

  • A strong attention to detail and ability to work well as part of a team.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex situations.

  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and to perform with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated understanding of material and service purchasing and receiving using a procurement / ERP system. (BluJay knowledge is a plus)

  • Demonstrated understanding of freight service purchasing receiving using a Transportation Management System.

  • Demonstrated understanding of needed reporting and price control for the above applications.
