Job Description:

SUMMARY
The Sales Analyst role provides sales data insights to support strategies and objectives for the sales team, executive team, and other internal departments. Responsible for maintaining reporting tools and dashboards, providing ad hoc analysis, and updating performance against key metrics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track sales performance that provide insights broadly across the organization.Continuously develop industry knowledge regarding customer trends, business practice, challenges and opportunities.Support the sales team and category management teams efforts to utilize various data sources when crafting compelling selling stories.Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective, visually appealing, intuitive sales reporting tools.Design, develop, analyze, and maintain Microsoft PowerBI (PBI) reports accessed by the sales team and executive leadership.Complete ad-hoc analysis, share insights and offer recommendations.Utilize and merge multiple data sources to support business needs.Provide ongoing training and support to end users and champion reporting tools and resources to facilitate user adoption.Collaborate with the IT team to create, validate and maintain underlying data structures, data transformation processes, and data models.Drive report consolidation/standardization and automate existing manual reports and processes.Provide reporting for external stakeholders such as customers and brokers.Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree preferred; and 1 to 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Has strong attention to detail, proficiency, and accuracy as it relates to working with data.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI and working knowledge of other Microsoft 365 suite of products.Anticipates business questions and is proactive in answering questions and offering recommendations.Naturally curious and advocates for development and continuous improvement.Clear and effective communicator with the ability to adapt to various personal styles, builds strong relationships and fosters teamwork across field sales and other internal departments.Ability to self-direct, work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
