Laboratory Technician at PPG INDUSTRIES INC in Burbank, California

Job Description:

As a Lab Technician , you will work on the formulating and testing of commercial or under-developing aerospace sealants and adhesives products against several customer specifications in a diverse team setting.

Salary Range: 45-55k

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide several complex to very complex technical services to support product development activities.


• Produce a clear understanding of specification requirements and test methods.


• Strictly follow the standard operating procedures to perform formulation and test.


• Create reliable data. Maintain accurate, detailed, and organized lab notebook.


• Provide clear documentation of technical results to allow the team to meet goals. Orally present work.


• Communicate with lab peers and the departments they support.

Qualifications:

• An associate degree or high school diploma is required.


• Over one year of hands-on experience with wet chemistry.


• Experience of polymer, coatings, sealants, and adhesives.


• Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
