What Youll Do at Shapiro
Become operator certified in both forklift and Bob Cat operation Operate forklift and/or Bob Cat equipment throughout the processing plant and materials yardIdentify problems with your equipment to ensure safe operationRecognize metals by pattern, color, configuration, and other means to grade them accuratelyLoad and unload trucksLoad and unload tubs and containers of metal productScoop and move loose metal productsAdd and remove tubs, containers, and loose product from inventoryOperate separators to upgrade productsHand-work metals to grade, separate and remove impuritiesPerform all baler duties, including operating, cleaning, and maintenancePreventative maintenance of any equipment
