In this role you will support the communications and public relations efforts at Gannett by driving key initiatives and business objectives across Editorial, Digital Marketing Solutions, Advertising, Product, Innovation, Events providing support in the delivery of high-quality, timely communications.
The role reports to the Communications and Social Media Manager, with a focus on media relations and social media support. This person will have media relations experience pitching stories, shaping messaging, monitoring for coverage, working with external PR/communications agencies.
Base Salary: $55,000 - $60,000/annually
The ideal candidate is creative, a strong writer, detail-oriented, solid multi-tasker and must have a strong track record for results.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $38,700 and$81,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
