RJM Construction is looking for an IT Intern with high potential, who is ready to own their impact in the IT department. As an IT Intern you will learn how to promote and maintain positive employee relations and gain various insights into technology by assisting with this critical customer facing role. Role and Responsibilities

Under supervision of the IT Leaderor delegated technical staff, the IT Intern assists IT staff to perform basic level work, including, and not limited to:


  • Assist with help desk calls, scheduling,tickets and problem-solving.

  • Assist with documentation needs and development of a knowledge base for the company.

  • Assist with Basic end-user support to prevent customer service delays for technical issues.

  • Perform computer imaging, staging and installation.

  • Assist in the maintenance of IT standards and documentation.

  • Perform inventory of equipment and software.

  • Set up video conferencing sessions and other items as needed to assist IT staff.

  • Assist field sites with technology needs as appropriate.

  • Assist team members with meeting room conferencing and audio-visual needs.

  • Perform other duties as requested.

  • Assist team members with meeting room conferencing and audio-visual needs.

  • Perform other duties as requested.


Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Seeking degree in Technology field.

  • Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.

Requirements:


  • Interest or demonstrated experience with computer hardware, software and documentation.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Basic technical skills and aptitude to learn technology to help support RJM staff and customers.

  • Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
