PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Wedding Cake Decorator is responsible for decorating cakes for various special occasions while providing excellent customer service.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

• Take and fulfill customer orders and requests


• Provide excellent customer service by delivering the Rich Experience


• Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods


• Ensure all products meet established standards of quality


• Assist with wedding cake prep and delivery


• Adhere to proper cash handling and inventory procedures


• Maintain a clean and safe bakery in compliance with established health and safety codes and guidelines

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma


• Cake decorating training / schooling preferred


• ServSafe certified preferred but not required


• Wedding cake decorating experience


• Proven experience with baking, decorating, and production including terms and processes


• Able to decorate with great detail using a steady hand


• Creative and innovative


• Good communication and interpersonal skills, friendly demeanor


• Cash handling experience, preferably in Micros


• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and occasional evenings


• Valid NYS driver's license

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"),reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$17.00-$22.00
