Dispatch Representative at Hyway Trucking Company in Findlay, Ohio

Job Description:

The Dispatch Representative will monitor and track fleet and contract carrier truck movements (TL, LTL, Common) to ensure accuracy and delivery of customer freight. The role will communicate with Drivers to ensure on-time service is provided for all shipments, respond to activities of drivers via internet satellite, text, and phone, and initiate check calls with Drivers on all pick-ups and deliveries. The Dispatch Representative will maintain timely updates in freight movement system by entering pick-up data, load information, and load closing. This role will provide detailed shift transition, take breakdown calls, communicate with Fleet Maintenance, or repair providers, and direct Drivers on options.
