Toth and Associates is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Helpdesk/User Support Specialist to join our growing team in Springfield, MO. This role provides technical support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of user-reported technical issues promptly and efficiently.
Provide technical support to staff via phone, email, and in-person assistance.
Document technical issues, solutions, and escalations thoroughly.
Assist with maintaining and updating user accounts and permissions.
Coordinate with hardware, software, and security teams as needed for software installations, new user setups, and other tasks.
Stay updated on current IT policies and procedures.
Support the implementation of new technologies and software.
Keep informed about emerging IT trends and best practices.
Conduct regular audits of systems and software to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other IT team members to improve efficiency and effectiveness of IT support services.
Assist in the development and delivery of training materials for end-users.
Associate degree in information technology, computer science, or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical support role required; 3-5 years preferred.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
A+ or equivalent certification is a plus.
