Job Summary

The Technical Graphics Advisor will play an integral role in facilitating communications with both internal and external stakeholders by producing presentations, reports, graphics, maps, etc. for board of directors, investor presentations, and company management.

This role is responsible for translating conceptual drafts into well-devised charts and exhibits and creating clear and accurate visual presentations to convey an intended message. The content will be a variety of strategic, technical and financial components.

The Technical Graphics Advisor will work in our Houston Corporate office and may work two (2) days a week remote.

Responsibilities


  • Create, edit, and enhance executive level presentation documents while ensuring high quality through proofreading and standardization
  • Translate ideas and concepts into an executive level finished product
  • Assess and rework/redesign existing presentation materials according to the needs and aligning with the company's guidelines
  • Collaborate with all levels of management on improving the presentation and communication of information
  • Develop, design and produce design concepts and aid in content management for investor collateral including annual reports, sustainability reports, proxies, and PowerPoint templates
  • Responsible for the processing and production of presentation content, images, maps, graphics, and other technical materials for print and online viewing
  • Coordinate the production and distribution as necessary, and work closely with colleagues to efficiently manage turnaround and delivery timelines
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in graphic design, presentations, graphics and/or maps
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Teams with a willingness to learn other software applications
  • Good knowledge in design software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Proficient in editable vector files and other technical applications as needed
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-discipline professionals and individuals at all levels
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate and work with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and adhere to deadlines

  • Ability to adjust and quickly recognize and solve problems

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design
  • Minimum 11 years' experience in graphic design, presentations, graphics and/or maps
