Job Title: Laundry Aide

Job Description: Ridgeway Post Acute is currently seeking detail-oriented and reliable individuals to join our team as Laundry Aides. The Laundry Aide will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and clothing are properly cleaned, sanitized, and distributed throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing according to established procedures


• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently


• Inspect linens and clothing for stains, tears, or damage, and make necessary repairs or adjustments


• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and equipment, and notify supervisor when supplies need to be reordered


• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries


• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed


• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry area

• Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently


• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions


• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy loads


• Basic understanding of laundry equipment and procedures


• High school diploma or equivalent
