Job Description: Ridgeway Post Acute is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces


• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces according to established procedures


• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored


• Assist with laundry and linen services as needed


• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent the spread of infections


• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate supervisor


• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility

• Previous experience as a housekeeper or janitor preferred


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently


• Excellent time management skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects


• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe use


• High school diploma or equivalent
