BROSCO by Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Millwork Maintenance Specialist. Please review the responsibilities and needed qualifications below and apply today! $24.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications. 


Summary:


The Millwork Maintenance Specialist position involves controlling the flow of inventory into and out of the shop production space.   The maintainer is responsible for removing unused and unneeded inventory and returning it to the warehouse.  They are also responsible for replacing damaged/defective product as needed and finding lost items and units.  The shop maintainer is responsible for making purchasing aware of vendor quality issues and creating the reports that will be used to apply for credit.  The shop maintainer will create dedicated locations in the shop as needed under the direction of the shop supervisors. They will also be responsible for the reclamation of returned product and damaged product that has been repaired.  


Qualifications:


     The list of qualifications below is required to be considered for the role of Millwork Maintenance Specialist. 



  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three month of related work experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, blueprints, shop drawings, and written instructions that determine the method and sequence of assembling parts.

  • Demonstrated ability to read a tape measure and be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • The ability to learn software programs such as Excel, Outlook, WMS, and the Epicore warehouse management system.

  • Be certified in the use of all appropriate BROSCO material handling equipment.

  • Have reliable means of transportation to and from the worksite.

  • Follow all safety rules set forth by the company, ensuring you work in a safe manner.

  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, shop drawings, and written instructions that enable you to complete the work.

  • Retrieve and replace damaged /lost product in a timely manner in order to keep production moving.

  • Use the warehouse management system to track the proper disposal of damaged product.

  • Be able to inspect product and determine that it adheres to Brosco quality standards and generate the appropriate reports when it does not.

  • Demonstrate attention to detail.

  • Ask questions when unsure on how to proceed with a task you are unfamiliar with.

  • Be able to communicate to other team members how to proceed once an order in question has been resolved.

  • Adapt to changes in the work environment and be able to deal with frequent change or unexpected work assignments.

  • Set and achieve personal and team goals. Demonstrate persistence and overcome obstacles.

  • Strive to continuously build product knowledge and skills and be willing to share expertise with others.

  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
