POSITION TITLE: Assistant Dean of Housing Operations and Student Conduct
REPORTS TO: Dean of Student Success
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for leadership and management of housing operations, residential life, and health and wellness functional areas in the Division of the Office of Student Success.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
Supervise student workers. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION:
Essential: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
Desirable: Master's Degree in Student Personnel or Related Field
EXPERIENCE:
Essential: Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in Student Affairs or Higher Education, particularly in student housing and/or residence life.
Desirable: 3+ years serving in a leadership role in a Residence Life department on a college campus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch, talk or hear. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Normal work day is Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00 PM with one hour allocated for lunch. Due to the nature of the position, 24/7 on-call availability is required. Schedule flexibility is required to accommodate evening and weekend hours.
