Job Summary
The Associate IPS Project Coordinator is actively engaged with the entire IPS Engineering team to help coordinate and contribute to successful IPS development activities. This position works closely with leadership personnel to allocate necessary resources to IPS development projects that will improve the efficiency, quality, and scalability of our deliverables as well as the processes to create them. This position requires cross-departmental collaboration to maximize communication, facilitate the timely completion of tasks, manage project timelines, and provide regular project reports
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Assist IPS Engineering Division Managers in developing project plans.
Allocate available resources to projects based on resource skills.
Coordinate meetings for key project personnel.
Maintain visibility of project schedules and other key deadlines that are essential to keep projects on track, using Wrike and/or other software.
Provide follow-ups on projects to pertinent personnel and ensure on-time project execution.
Continuously maintain a focus on IPS development and make recommendations on ways to work more effectively as a team.
Give presentations and other updates to leadership personnel.
Assist in resolution of project roadblocks.
Qualifications
Educational and Experience Requirements
High school diploma with 5 years of project coordination experience or Associate's degree with 3 years of project coordination experience.
3+ years of experience with project resource allocation
3+ years of proficient use of project management/coordination software (e.g. Wrike)
Prior experience with technical applications of software
Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to help coordinate multiple schedules within and outside the division.
Desire to constantly learn and take on new projects.
Logical problem solver and strategic thinker who can operate effectively under pressure.
Robust organizational and time management skills.
Comfortable learning and leveraging project and task management/collaboration tools.
Adhere and support KLS Martin's quality and safety policies and procedures.
Ability to learn new software quickly.
Able to work independently under minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels internally, as well as externally.
