Job Description:

The Industrial Fumigant Company (IFC) is looking for an energetic sales leader to lead the national team of Region Account Managers and/or Sr Region Account Managers. This position will be under the direction of the VP of Marketing and Business Manager.

The Successful Candidate Will...


  • Utilize knowledge from industry-leading training to lead a national team of salespeople to achieve their sales goals.

  • Perform inspections.

  • Present proposals and assist in closing sales.

  • Identify and create sales opportunities to drive new sales revenue resources.

  • Attract, develop, and retain employees through effective recruiting, ongoing training, and continuous development.

  • Analyze business trend to provide direction for growth.

  • Partner will field operations to retain and penetrate current customer accounts.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:


  • 5-7 years of Sales Management Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of sales management experience

  • Must successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screen

  • Possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record and proof of insurability

  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite skill to include Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint

  • Reside in or around the Kansas City Metro area or within 60 miles of a major airport.

  • Report into the Home Office in Lenexa, KS on a regular basis

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Pest Control Industry experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Applicable pest and other related certifications or licensing

  • Multi-state sales experience

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:


  • Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

  • Safely lift, move, and climb ladders while using within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.

  • Stand for extended periods of time, bend, use hands to fingers, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

  • Speak, hear, utilize a telephone, and computer for frequent communications.

  • Lead a national team remotely.

  • Able to work in all types of weather conditions.

  • Ability to travel up to 80% by automobile or air as needed, which can include overnights.
