As we continue to grow and expand our horizons, we're in pursuit of an Application Scientist who can seamlessly blend technical acumen with sales strategy, becoming a key liaison between our technical solutions and our clients' needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide robust technical support to the Business Development team in drafting quotes/proposal and responding promptly to client inquiries.
  • Identify effective technical strategies/ solutions based on client's needs and production team's capabilities.
  • Analyze customer activity, anticipate needs, and identify opportunities to cross-sell for higher revenue growth and strong customer relationships.
  • Play a pivotal role in the sales process by aiding in the closure of sales deals.
  • Deliver technical presentations focused on demonstrating product features during internal and external meetings.
  • Help to communicate timely updates on ongoing projects.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers through excellent project communication and customer service.
  • Resolve customer's technical issues and advise effective solutions.
  • Stay abreast of current market trends and competitor solutions to position our products/services efficiently.
  • Engage in continuous learning to understand the intricacies of our offerings and how they serve our client base.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to ensure seamless customer experience.

Qualifications
  • Bi-lingual with fluency in both Chinese and English, with the ability to fluently communicate complex scientific terms in both languages is desired.
  • Superior written and verbal communication and organizational skills are imperative. Candidates must be flexible in their communication and presentation style when responding to unique inquiries.
  • Ph.D. in Life science or M.S in biology, molecular biology with a minimum of 2 years of technical sales experience in the Life Science sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge in molecular biology techniques and applications.
  • Prior lab experience with genomics, PCR, DNA, gene synthesis, sequencing, etc. is a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prospect leads and adeptness in funnel management.
  • Team-oriented, with the desire and ability to work with others.
  • Exceptional presentation and analytical abilities.
  • Aggressive, solutions-oriented approach complemented by excellent customer service skills.
  • Solid understanding of the company's products, competitive offerings, and market dynamics.
  • Proactively seeks to solve problems and identify ways to improve the customer experience.
  • Customer-centric mindset.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
