The Wilner Group has partnered with our client a property management company in search of a Controller to join their team at their Pleasantville, NJ location. This is a full-time, permanent position with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, with a compensation of $110k-$125k based on experience.
Requirements-
Carrying out the company's fiduciary responsibility in its relationship with investors, agencies, and owners of properties under our management.
Reviews budgets for the managed properties at the beginning of the year and at mid-year along with Executive Staff.
Responsible for Housing Assistance Payments contract renewals; determines, together with Regional Managers, whether rent increases should be budget or OCAF; responsible for notification letters to HUD and residents.
Qualifications-
Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, CPA or graduate degree.
Three to five years of experience time managing staff.
Familiarity with accounting and property management modules of Real Page or other property management and accounting software.
