The RN provides professional nursing care within the Sub-Acute Unit. Coordinates care, planning, and implementation with other disciplines, for the adult and older adult (geriatric) patient.Foothill Regional Medical Center is a fully accredited acute care hospital, licensed for 177 beds-120 beds for general acute care, 15 intensive care beds and 42 pediatric sub-acute beds. Our pediatric sub-acute unit, just one of six in California, serves patients from throughout the state. We care for patients up to 21 years of age who need long-term sub-acute care including ventilator care and nutritional support.
One to two (1-2) years recent nursing clinical experience in an acute hospital setting.
CCRN Certification preferred.
Graduate of an Accredited Professional School of Nursing.
Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred.
American Heart Association (BLS) Certification. Active RN license
Pay Rate: Min - $38.00 | Max - $53.68
Evaluates and monitors patient's response to therapeutic regimen as an ongoing process and addresses findings appropriately findings appropriately.
Evaluates and monitors the quality of assigned patients' care. Follows up when quality concerns are identified.
Documents patient's response to nursing interventions related to actual nursing diagnoses / problems.
Evaluates the patient / family level of understanding and alters teaching methodology to improve learning.
Updates / revises plan of care based on the effectiveness of interventions and patients' change in status as recognized in ongoing patient assessments/reassessment.
