Engineers in T. Rowe Price’s Distribution & Marketing Services – Individual Investor’s organization are playing a key role in helping build the future of financial services, working hand-in-hand with business partners to build client experiences that are changing the way people invest. We want technologists with a new perspective who are passionate about solving business, data and technical challenges. You will build groundbreaking, next-generation applications for n-tier cloud architectures.  

We are seeking a Senior React Engineer who has a passion, vision and technical acumen to help lead strategic initiatives and meet the needs of the business. You’ll be hands-on coding through the entire development lifecycle transforming client experiences. Responsibilities


  • Lead significant areas of development within the development lifecycle

  • Contribute to code reviews and provide feedback on others’ designs/code

  • Participate in decisions regarding tactical vs. strategic trade-offs

  • Assist and mentor more junior engineers

Business Knowledge


  • Experience working directly with business partners

  • Can articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions

Requirements


  • 5+ years’ experience in user interface development

  • 2+ years’ experience with React

  • Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is a plus

  • Experience mentoring development teams

  • Able to quickly learn new technologies and stay abreast of industry trends
