Job Description:

Maintenance Technician II at our CWT CCW Wylie location repairs and maintains plant machinery and equipment. Equipment includes mixers, conveyors, compressors, and pumps. Our technicians repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, and motor starters as needed. With working in a manufacturing production environment, our technicians perform work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments.


Shifts available & pay rate:


Starting Pay: $28.54-$37.18


***$3000.00 Sign-On Bonus***Paid after 90 days of employment


Start training on dayshift


Permanent Shift: Monday - Thursday 8:00 P.M. - 4:30 A.M.


Job Responsibilities:


* Perform needed maintenance on equipment and direct support of production operating needs. Evaluate equipment and suggest necessary action when malfunctions occur or when improvements are needed.
* Support a high performing responsive team by exhibiting ownership, accountability, and a passion for work and effective interpersonal relations.
* Support A3 problem solving by participating in team problem solving analysis and resolutions. Also identify opportunities for improvement (problem areas) and participate in the resolution.
* Support CMMS through work order documentation, spare parts, and inventory system support and utilization.
* Lead, direct and train other plant mechanics where appropriate and/or assigned.
* Manage various plant utilities including chiller, air compressor, cooling tower, security system & fire protection system.
* Complete daily process work orders and data entry to CMMS, initiate purchase requisitions, and create and utilize equipment and process documentation.


Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.


Minimum Requirements:


* High school diploma or GED
* Vocational and/or technical training certification
* At least 5 years minimum maintenance experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, basic electrical, electro-mechanical, PLC and robotics equipment maintenance and repair in an industrial/manufacturing environment associated with engineering or maintenance activity.
* CMMS - SAP Experience
* Basic computer skills, especially MS Excel and Word.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Consideration for individuals with equivalent combination of education and experience


Work Environment/Time Worked:


* 40+ hours a week
* Willing to work flexible work schedules
* Monday-Friday; Additional weekend hours will be required
* Factory floor setting/Office setting
