Job Summary



As an Oldcastle Customer Service Representative, you will work with internal and external customers to answer product, billing and delivery questions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing support, guidance, proper follow-up and resolution to customer inquiries or issues
  • Take sales orders from sales representatives and customers, enter orders into the system for billing and delivery
  • Assist customers with product questions, quotes, ordering, order tracking, complaints and problems
  • Categorize, file, and maintain ship ticket copies for audit purposes and file all customer records
  • Run credit card approvals and check approvals, retrieve needed information for the credit department
  • Accurately process phoned, faxed and emailed quotes and orders in accordance with cut off times
  • Document customer interactions and transactions
  • Data entry of fax, email and phone orders for production
  • Answer telephone promptly and transfer callers to appropriate departments
  • Provide assistance to all co-workers when needed



Requirements / Education / Experience

  • Must be able to multi-task with high attention to detail
  • Strong data entry ability with focus on detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent phone skills with the ability to listen attentively to customer needs and concerns
  • Organized, self-starter with the ability to prioritized workload in a fast-paced office environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must have computer experience and able to enter data
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent in related experience
  • Basic math, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office suite
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
