Job Description:

Located on Peterson AFB
Specific Duties and Tasks:
Serves as the site lead, developing, planning and coordinating implementation of all activities of the health promotion program at the installation level. Conduct wellness screenings, educational classes, incentive programs, health fairs. Perform services such as finger sticks and other biometric measurements including height, weight, BMI/body composition, and blood pressure. Educate participants on health awareness and lifestyle modification. Provide orientation and training to new staff and communicate on new policies or changes in procedures. Ensure that programs are staffed according to the scope of work and that work schedules are modified to meet fluctuating workloads. Evaluate programs and provide progress reports. Maintain current knowledge of health promotion topics to keep health education program material current. Coordinate and/or ensure supplies, equipment, and filesare maintained in properly secured storage. Provide excellent written and oral communication skills when working with internal and external customers. Perform other related duties as assigned by the contractor PM. Support Mobile worksite events as applicable.
Management responsibilities including, but is not limited to:
Supervise the on-site staff to include all on-call staff.Interviewing potential new staff for the site.Selecting the candidate that meets the needs of the site.
Training of employees both new and current.Recommending staff and schedules to support site needs.Providing guidance and direction of the work of employees are to perform.Maintaining records in the supervision of the staff.Annual reviews for current employees and 60/90 day reviews for new employees.
