Exciting new hire for the small but mighty marketing team! This role will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive growth strategies, focusing on acquiring new customers through various paid channels at a profitable return on ad spend. We are looking for someone who is both strategic and highly executional. This person should feel at-home within paid platforms, while also being excited to play a role in the overall growth strategy.
Responsibilities
Direct management of existing paid acquisition channels. This multi-channel media mix includes Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and affiliate. Rigorously test creative to achieve goals, with tangible learnings for content creation. Own execution, measurement/reporting, and daily optimization
Involvement in new paid marketing opportunities to shape our strategy, including: Ownership of our newer channels, such as podcast advertising, helping us to understand its value. Recommending new paid channels and budgets and, for those green lit (we love to test!), overseeing testing framework, measurement, execution, reporting, and ongoing optimization.
Make recommendations for budget allocation decisions across paid media channels
Produce detailed weekly & monthly reporting, looking both at in-platform as well as attributed revenue to measure the success of all our marketing efforts and key takeaways.
Manage other marketing initiatives and ad hoc projects as needed.
Minimal agency oversight in 2024, as this role will replace outsourced support.
Ideally assume responsibility for Amazon advertising, currently managed by an agency.
Qualifications
6+ years of relevant marketing experience
Proven track record scaling budgets with efficiency and focus on CAC and ROAS
Skilled at day-to-day management of ad platform budgets and optimizations
A fast learner, quickly adapting strategies to the needs of the business
Detail oriented and data obsessed
Ability to thrive in a startup environment - you love to execute & multitask!
