A global electrical components company is currently seeking a motivated Japanese / English Bilingual Data Analyst to join their Sales Department in the Wood Dale, IL area. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years' work experience in Data analyst or Sales support and a positive, team-oriented mindset. This is a full-time and direct hire position. Data Analyst Responsibilities Include:
Participate in sales forecasting, market research and analysis, and development of sales and marketing strategies
Analyze the orders and sales then propose the Management and Sales team to generate customer insights in support of sales strategies and communications
Keep up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity within the industry and company territory
Generate monthly Inventory analysis and control stock flow.
Interface with other departments and offices to ensure timely delivery of products
Update logistics information, purchase orders, and sales orders in the company system(s)
Other duties as assigned
Data Analyst Requirements Include:
Minimum Associate's degree in a business-related field preferred, OR equivalent work experience
Must be able to speak, read and write business level of Japanese (JLPT N2 level or above)
Minimum 1-3 years' work experience in Sales Support / Inventory control, Inside Sales, or Customer Support, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
Good communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
