Job Description

The successful candidate will lead and manage the ISS marketing communication team and the Americas marketing communication program in collaboration with global marcom, reporting to a VP of Marketing. The Marketing Communication Manager is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing communication strategies that effectively promote the organization's products, services, and brand. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing communication channels, and ensuring consistency in messaging to enhance brand visibility and drive business objectives.  
 

Role Accountability:

Strategy Development & Execution:

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing communication plans aligned with the overall marketing and business strategy.
  • Collaboratively with product management and global marcom design and execute product and regional marketing strategies that propel the business.
  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Manage the marketing communication budget effectively, optimizing resources for maximum impact.

Messaging and Branding:

  • Ensure consistency and alignment of brand messaging across all communication channels.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines to uphold the organization's identity.

Content Creation:

  • Create compelling and engaging content for various channels, including websites, social media, press releases, and marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with the content team to produce high-quality materials that resonate with the target audience.

Media Relations:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets and strategic partners
  • Coordinate and manage press releases, media interviews, and other publicity efforts.

Digital Marketing:

  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, social media, and online advertising.
  • Analyze digital metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations.

Event Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure seamless execution and representation of the brand.

Internal Communication:

  • Facilitate effective communication within the organization, ensuring employees are informed and aligned with marketing goals.
  • Develop and distribute internal communication programs


Qualifications

Professional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven 3 plus years of people management experience 
  • Proven experience in marketing communication, with a focus on strategy development and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media trends, and analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in managing external agencies and vendors.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Additional Information

For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $95,000 and $115,000 per year. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law
