Warehouse Clerk - BV at Munster AB in Daleville, Virginia

Job Description:

SUMMARY: Responsible for the storage, picking, and handling of raw materials. Also, for the receipt of purchased items and other company supplies.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Pulls and packs copper parts from stock as required by pick lists and Addendum Bill of Material (ABMs), assembles job skids with these items for shipping to meet the production schedule.


• Sorts, verifies, and stocks recently received items and places these items in their designated storage areas.


• Maintains areas of the stockroom in neat and orderly fashion.


• Ability to construct crates and pallets when required.


• Basic Microsoft office skills such as excel and word.


• Ability to operate a forklift when necessary.


• Pulls and packs bent metal parts for kits as required by pick lists and Addendum Bill of Material (ABMs), assembles job skids with these items for shipping to meet the production schedule.


• Follow all safety guidelines from Munters


• Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Lead(s), Warehouse and Logistics Manager.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Minimum of high school diploma or GED.


SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Basic modern warehousing methods and procedures for receiving, shipping and issuing materials; proper and orderly storage and stock inventory procedures; proper methods of storing materials and supplies; proper safety practices; basic warehouse procedures; proper methods of handling, packaging, wrapping and shipping packages; lifting techniques; health and safety regulations; interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy; operation and use of hand and power tools and equipment.


TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Munters New Employee Orientation, Quality Assurance and Safety Awareness.


HOURS OF WORK: Standard work schedules plus overtime and weekend hours will be required to meet production needs. Scheduled hours for the preparation and physical inventory will be required.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Heavy (Lifting up to 75 lbs. on a frequent basis and climbing), Standing, Bending, Squatting
